JEKYLL & HYDE – SIX HOUR SUNDOWN
Six Hour Sundown are a new band fronted by the one and only Lauren Harris. Â I shot this video for them using the Nikon D3S. It was shot at Millennium studios in Bedfordshire on a sound stage using follow spots and a 30 foot digital LED wall. Â Once everything was set we did a few takes of the song and got the whole thing wrapped within 5 hours! Â
This should be rather special. Â The artwork looks fantastic. Â When I took the picture I remember looking out and thinking “f**king ‘ell that is a lot of people!’.
The Banger guys shot it with a lot of additional footage from Andy and Nick who do the professional filming at every show. In all there was about 2o cameras covering the show from all over. I had to attach the shot below of my good friend Martin Hawkes from Banger. Â Squid the Maiden sound tech is lighting a cigarette which is sticking out of the back of his trousers. Â I have no idea how it got there…honest! Martin is a really great camera guy so this DVD will be incredible – Â with or without our help!
