Silversun Pickups

Back from holiday! Silversun Pickups rocked the Barfly in Camden last night!

Some more Maiden shots from Bangalore!

It’s a miracle I got any band shots in India after ‘British Crappy Airlines’ forgot my bags in London after I requested them to go priority! Out of choice I will never use British Airways again. Only had one lens a 12-24mm which worked out fortunate. I lit the band using my Nikon speedlight off camera on a TTL lead held by Dave Pattenden from the Maiden management. All in all it worked out well but I really wanted to do some long lens stuff. Thanks BA. Got the rest of the gear the next day thanks to Will from EMI!

Digital SLR Photography magazine

Out now is a 10 page interview with me in the May edition of Digital SLR photography magazine. Talking about music photography, touring with Iron Maiden and giving up the day job! It’s a really good piece with lots of pix. Not only that the magazine is one of the best photo mags out there!

Observer Music Monthly this Sunday has the full story on the Maiden show in Bangalore, India with my pictures. Hopefully it is a good read? Ed the journalist who wrote the piece is a war correspondent – not your average music journo, but a bloody good bloke!!! If anyone needs me I am hiding in Cornwall until Monday.
