Dan Lezano the editor at Digital SLR Photography magazine really gets photography and I really enjoyed doing the interview with him. The reason I enjoyed it, is because Dan doesn’t do the usual photography bullsh*t. For years I have been vocal about the ‘old school’ bow-tie brigade that harps on about the philosophy of photography and the technical process.  With Dan it is about the photography.  Actually doing the job, getting your hands dirty and going out there and getting the shot.  I read an  interview in one of the mags with ****** the other day and it was just complete boll*cks. This was a photographer who is in the ‘new generation’ of photographers! How hard is it to get ‘the shot’ with a model who has been styled and ‘prepared’?  Don’t be dazed and confused by this crap.  Not saying I have anything to say that will change the world but at least I am honest.
